## Context

OpenKedai is free software that shops can run themselves. We want anyone to be able to self-host it, and we want improvements made by people who run modified copies as a service to come back to the community.

## Decision

Everything in this repository is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 only (`AGPL-3.0-only`), plus the app-store permission described in [ADR 0010](https://docs.openkedai.com/adr/0010-app-store-distribution-and-cla/).

## Consequences

- Shops, integrators and hobbyists can run, study, modify and share OpenKedai freely.
- Anyone who offers a modified OpenKedai to users over a network must offer those users the modified source.
- Third-party code must have an AGPL-compatible license. MIT-licensed code may be copied in only with its copyright notice kept.
